That’s the Irish way of saying welcome, “a hundred thousand welcomes” to be exact. So, welcome to Anam Cara Tours LLC. I am the daughter of Mary Kathleen Connolly and Arthur Clyde McKern. It wasn’t until after both their deaths that I started to appreciate my Celtic ancestry, both Irish and Scottish. Since 2002 I have designed and guided numerous sacred site tours of Ireland, and only recently added the Highlands of Scotland. I am passionate about both and love sharing the magic with my travelers. My tour groups are small by design. Many come and discover their roots, whether literally or spiritually. A longing that they didn’t know they had, fulfilled by a pilgrimage with like-minded/like-spirited adults. Please read through these pages and see if Ireland and/or Scotland calls to your soul.
