The Enneagram

Saturday, October 6, 2018
9:00am – 5:30pm
Facilitated by Molly Eacret

Dream Acres, SW Hidden Hills Road, McMinnville, Oregon
Investment: $66.00

The Enneagram refers to the nine different types or styles, with each representing a worldview and archetype that resonates with the way people think, feel and act in relation to the world, others and themselves. It is much more than a personality profile that offers insight into core personality traits, as it delves deeper into the core motivations, defense mechanisms and fears that often lie in the unconscious layers of our personality structure. Your Enneagram core type is like a home base from which we make sense of individuation, integration and development.

Molly Eacret has been teaching the Enneagram for 13 years and is passionate about sharing its wisdom and powerful, transformative qualities. She is a kind and compassionate teacher with an open and engaging style. Her personal experience with and deep understanding of the material makes this an interesting and informative workshop for all.

Loving Our Bodies & Ourselves

Facilitated by Rev. Kathleen McKern Verigin & Rachel Hayward

A recent survey by a popular women’s magazine confirms that 97% of women say they have at least one negative thought about their body image every…single…day. Don’t eat that. You’re obese and unattractive. All the pretty girls are a size 2. I’m ugly. Too skinny. Any of this sound familiar? We can make a change!!! In this workshop, we will explore our personal stories about our own experiences of our bodies. We will bring these emotions and stories to the surface and onto paper where we can work with them in ceremony. We will draw up these stories into our hearts, our minds, our spirits, and see what messages reside there. We will then step out into the world, taking our bodies and spirits back, to bring forth strength, community, and wisdom. We are all in this together, and we are stronger together. There is space for 10 women. Claim your space now!

Dress casually, in layers. Bring socks or slippers, along with a pen/pencil and note paper/journal. For the altar, bring 2 photos of you—one that you like, and one that triggers negative thoughts about your body.

“I grew up in a family system that labeled my body. I had an aunt’s heavy legs, later called canckles. I had another aunt’s bubble butt. My dad’s chin. My mom’s belly. Ugh! Inspired by Rachel’s work, I began to document my experiences, starting with the words: I first learned about my body…” Writing and sharing opened the doorway for my continued healing.” Rev. Kathleen McKern Verigin, Anam Cara Connections

“You do have something to say. Your life is noteworthy. And there is a wonderful journey of discovery in store for you when you decide to take the first step.” Rachel Hayward, Telltales www.telltalesllc.com rachel@telltales.com 503.550.6053

Introduction to Romani (Gypsy)
Spiritualism & Healing

 Saturday, October 20, 2018
1:00 – 4:00pm
Facilitated by Carol Lentz
Portland Area – Location TBA
8400 SW Hemlock, Portland 97223
Donation: $25.00

Ever felt the wild “Gypsy” blood flowing through your veins, especially on a full moon, or enjoyed dancing barefoot in the grass on a warm summer day? These are traits of an ancient Romani Spiritualism. Please join Carol in an introductory lesson in Romani Spiritualism. You will learn the basic spiritual structure, philosophies and how this ancient wisdom can be integrated into your own life. You will create an inner “safe house” where you can retreat in times of tension, sadness or simple contemplation. You will also be introduced to a new method of processing through problems, feelings and internal decision making.

Carol Lentz lived in the Romani community and studied with Patrick “Jasper” Lee, a Chivano (Shaman or holy man) with the Puram clan for four years. She is a level II Chivana, and is looking forward to sharing a basic introduction to this rich spiritualism and healing practice.
