Rev. Krystal Ashling – Portland, Oregon
Rev. Krystal’s professional focus and expertise has been working with people asking for healing and those dealing with loss. She brings 20+ years of hospice work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is a Reiki Master, certified hypnotherapist, and an Anam Cara graduate working toward ordination. At present she is a Licensed Spiritual Practitioner and Compassionate Care Coordinator for New Thought Center for Spiritual Living in Lake Oswego. She facilitates the Empowered Awakened Women’s group in Beaverton, a monthly support group. Her first love is working with women in groups and/or individually for spiritual growth. Rev. Krystal is currently organizing healing groups to start in January 2019 which will focus on bridging the gap between science and spirituality.
Rev. Beth Astarte – Beaverton, Oregon
Rev. Beth Astarte has been involved in some form of ministry all of her adult life. After participating in her first ACC group with Rev. Kathleen, she became Rev. Kathleen’s assistant the next year as well as led her own women’s circle based on the Celtic triple spiral -A Women’s Guide to Sensuality, Sexuality and Spirituality. Rev. Beth loves to co-create ceremonies and rituals to honor rites of passage no matter how large or small, particularly end-of-the-year burning bowl ceremonies. Whether through contemplative practices or creating church plays, Rev. Beth utilizes all of her skills to make spiritual principles come alive so that people can have a fully-embodied experience of their spirituality. Beaverton, Oregon.
Rev. Kathryn King, MSW is a counselor, spiritual advisor and teacher who has been in private practice in the Vancouver WA area for over 30 years. She was ordained by Anam Cara Connections in October 2016. Kathryn is a woman committed to her own growth and exudes humor, compassion and acceptance to those she works with. In addition to being trained as a Social Worker, she is an ordained Interfaith Minister and was trained by Seena Frost to lead SoulCollage(R) workshops. She is especially interested in helping people facilitate transitions of all kinds and volunteers with the No One Dies Alone program in Vancouver, WA.
After serving in leadership of the ACC prayer ministry, Rev. Liah took on the role of Rev. Kathleen’s assistant for ACC’s First Friday Forum, providing a reading each month, many of which she wrote specifically for the evening. As a licensed minister she has continued to provide poetry for the ACC emails, has written and performed ceremonies for women, based on the Celtic triple spiral, and has also led spiritual women’s groups.
Rev. Angelica Martinez – Portland, Oregon
Rev. Angelica, also known by the pen name Anut Raven-Hawke, is a modern-day Alchemist. The focus of her Ministry lies within the Science and Philosophical Art of Alchemy, bridging the divide between Spirituality and Science. Rev. Angelica traveled the Anam Cara Journey a magical three times, exploring a variety of spiritual archetypes. She started her Journey to becoming a Minister (in title) with Anam Cara’s Ministry Program; becoming Licensed on May 14, 2017. Her Journey continues, as she looks forward to Ordination through Anam Cara in the future.
Rev. Sandra Grace Walden – Portland, Oregon
Rev. Sandra Grace is an Anam Cara Journey graduate working toward ordination. She performs unique, personalized ceremonies, conducts workshops and discussion groups, as well as providing individual counseling. She is a Licensed Labyrinth Facilitator through Veriditas, Energy Keeper for the Labyrinth Society, Trinity Episcopal Labyrinth Guild member in Portland, Oregon and active in the Buddhist Peace Fellowship as Spiritual Activist. Degreed in Psychology and Art, she studied with Jean Huston’s Mystery School, Joseph Campbell and Richard Rohr and is a past Lay Minister at Portland Unity Church. Sandra Grace also works with the Cerimon House in Portland providing opportunities to enter the Liminal Space thru workshops, ceremonies and labyrinth walks. Sandra Grace is actively developing workshops using Intentional Creativity, the Labyrinth and meditation.
Rev. Cheri Unger- Portland, Oregon
Rev Cheri Unger was originally licensed through Soul Purpose Ministries. She enthusiastically has brought her professional skills of deep listening, caring and compassion into her ministry as a Field Minister of New Thought Center for Spiritual Living, a Religious Science Licensed Practitioner, Director of the Sacred Silver Sages, and choir member. She was ordained in December 2001 and served at Living Enrichment Center. In 2004, Rev. Cheri sponsored the Sacred Silver Sages, bringing them under the umbrella of New Thought Ministries of Oregon. She initiated, implemented and coordinated the Sunday meditation. Rev. Cheri’s background includes a BA in Nursing and a Masters in Counseling. Her past volunteer activities have included service as President of the League of Women Voters of Portland and of Oregon, Chair of the Multnomah County Mental Health Advisory Board, Volunteer at Friendly House Inc. and William Temple House. Rev. Cheri serves her spiritual community with joy, dedication and commitment and with the intention to realize God everywhere, at all times, in all circumstances. She is ready and willing to serve her spiritual community as needed.
